Monochrome Reichle

This is a monochrome makeover of Reichle (here [link]), my first OC, who is a vampire. I use her for roleplaying and wanted to re-draw her for a while, so this was the perfect opportunity.

This deviation was drawn for Monochrome Contest, which ends August 31st, 2011.

Age: appears 17, is actually 100

Species: Vampire--The sun between the morning and noon can kill her; but in the late afternoon (after 2 or 3), it slowly weakens her, making her feel tired and get hungrier faster

Personality: Calm, but has random spurts of ditzy excitedness, very smart, most feelings are mild. She hardly ever drains people when she drinks from them because she finds it unnecessary.

Appearance: Mid-back length black hair, reddish-brown eyes, cute fangs that poke out a bit from under her top lip, resting on her bottom lip.
Height: 5' 3"
Weight: 130

History: She was born into a family where every other generation has one female vampire. Because they are so rare in the family, they are sent away to train with the only male vampire in the family, who is over 700 years old. She was the most naturally gifted in 7 generations. Since her mother was the vampire in the generation before her, she was prepared for the training since she was five, before she left to train with her uncle at 10 years old. In elementary school she got in trouble a lot because she jumped on her classmates to bite them even though her fangs had not grown in yet. She received her sword from her uncle at age 11, but could not use it until she was 16, since it was 5 feet long. She finished her training at 25. She tasted her first person at 14 years old.

Powers: Very fast (almost as fast as teleportation), very good at handling her sword, and has a punch that can dent armor. She can smell people from the scent of their blood and hear it pumping, so if someone hides, she can still follow them.

Weaknesses: When she needs to drink blood, her heart calls for it by beating hard against her chest, which feels like a heart attack does to a human; it paralyzes her and she falls to her knees.

Weapon: A thin 5 foot long sword. Its blade has a blue line straight down the middle and its handle is overlaid with woven purple and green satin. And the fangs of course.
